Class of 2027 - Financial Aid applications are officially open!!
Dear Senior Students and Families,
The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) are officially open!
Completing one of these applications is a critical step in securing grant money, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and loans for your post-secondary education.
Which Application Should You Complete?
Students only need to complete ONE application based on their eligibility:
FAFSA: For U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or eligible non-citizens. Complete your form at StudentAid.gov.
CADAA: For undocumented students, DACA recipients, or non-resident students who meet AB 540 requirements. Complete your form at CSAC CADAA.
If you are unsure which form applies to you, please use the guidance tool on the California Student Aid Commission Website to determine your correct application path.

Process in a nutshell: Both student and their parents must have their own FSA IDs. Seniors must start the process first - Create FSA ID, complete and sign the 2027-2028 application and invite their parent/legal guardian. The parent/guardian will then login using their own FSA ID and complete and sign their portion of the application using the invitation email or code.
Deadline to complete this application is March 2, 2027.
Once you have completed the application, take a screenshot showing completion (I only need to see student's name) and submit it to this completion QR code:
