Work Permit
Planning to work during the school year or over the summer? California law requires all minors under age 18 to hold an official permit prior to starting employment.
Pick up an application (Form B1-1) in the front office or at the College & Career Center (F101) or download it here or print a copy directly from your Aeries account. Students can login to their Aeries account, select “Student Info”, then go to “Work Permit”. Click on “Print” tab, check “Do not include Employer Information” box and select “Print CDE B1-1 Statement of Intent to Employ” box.

** To ensure collection by Friday lunch, you must submit your completed form to the Drop Box outside F101 no later than 3:00 PM on Wednesday.**
Requirements: Students must maintain minimum GPA/attendance requirements set by the district to hold an active work permit. Please email Janice Quek-Collins at jcollins@martinez.k12.ca.us if you have any questions.
Contact the Student Services in the district office for help during the Summer and other non school days – studentservices@martinez.k12.ca.us
If you need help, come to the Career and College Center in F101 and I will be delighted to help you!
