Welcome to Career and College Center!

WHO IS MRS. COLLINS?

I was born and raised in Singapore, where I obtained a Diploma in Business Studies. After working a few years in Marketing and Advertising,  I moved overseas to Perth, Australia, where I received my Bachelor of Commerce in Advertising and Marketing. In 2008, I packed up and moved to California and started a family. Three years later, I obtained my Master Certificate in Internet Marketing from USF and in April of 2024, I am super proud to have obtained my Certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning with UC Berkeley Extension. I am now a certified College Admission Counselor! I have worked in Martinez Unified School District for the last 5 years, first as a Substitute Teacher, then as Technology Specialist for 2 years and this is my 4th year as Career and College Specialist. I am passionate about learning, living, and thinking out of the box.

As your Career and College Specialist, I aim to help students extend their academic goals beyond high school. All students are welcome to email me. I am very excited to be working with you and will look forward to meeting each of you throughout the year.

Alhambra High School Profile

2024-2025 school profile

School profiles convey important descriptive information about the school, its academic program, and its community, and they are customarily included in student applications to colleges and postsecondary programs. College-admissions professionals consider school profiles essential to the admissions process because they provide the contextual information that admissions offices need to interpret and understand the academic accomplishments of individual students.
