What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment is a formal partnership between DVC and Alhambra High School. Courses are offered on campus for AHS students.

Benefits:

  • Classes are FREE to students

  • Students earn high school (elective) credits AND college units

  • All classes transfer to UC and CSU colleges

  • Courses meet General Ed requirements

  • Successful completion helps demonstrate college and career readiness

  • Looks really GOOD in college applications

* Most classes allow students to earn 1 to 3 college credits upon satisfactory completion and that translates to 3 to 10 high school credits!
